Welcome!
Welcome! My name is Crystal Williams. I am a recent UAFS Music Education graduate and am on a journey led by God to go into ministry full-time. I’ve been involved in church since before I was born, came to a saving knowledge of Jesus and the fullness of what He came to do when I was about eight years old, spent a few years being a rebellious teenager, but through the grace of God, was somehow chosen to be in a place of influence over children, then students, and now both high school students and college age students.
During my rebellious teenage years, I was lovingly dragged into worship ministry and through playing piano with a wonderful group of people, became closer and closer to Jesus until I was called into vocational ministry. Immediately after high school, I served Fianna Hills Baptist as Interim Worship Director, and Childrens Ministry Director. That continued for two years and I loved every second of it. By this point, I was well into my college career and became heavily involved in our local Baptist College Ministry. After those two years, I was led to Calvary Baptist Church to become their Children’s Ministry Director, but quickly became the Student Ministry Director instead, a choice that I wasn’t accepting of at first, but looking back was exactly where God knew I needed to be. After graduating, I decided to pursue further education and ministry by beginning to earn my Masters of Arts in Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Throughout the rest of my college career, I ministered to those students at Calvary while being ministered to by the BCM. After I graduated, both of those things continued and has led to this moment, of my ministry expanding to college students as well. The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith is a unique campus with unique needs and with my college experience and ministry experience, I am pleased to be chosen to minister to those college students.
Which leads us to why you are reading this post. Because the Southern Baptist convention currently does not have a fund for supporting BCM Staff, these people, including myself, need financial support from donors like you in order to be able to minister to the fullest potential possible. By donating, you are providing a way for me to use the majority of my time sharing the Gospel with people, meeting with them one on one, counseling people, and bringing up the next leaders within the Church. Your support, whether by donation, prayers, or encouragement, is valued in ways you wouldn’t believe. I’m excited to see more ministry partners come alongside this mission!
